Man Shot After Following 4 Robbery Suspects

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are investigating a robbery and shooting at a southeast metro apartment complex Christmas morning.

Police said they believe a man was dropping off a friend when four individuals robbed him.

The man told police he followed the suspects to another area of the complex. Then the suspects shot the man in the leg.

"The victim was taken to the hospital. His story is not making a lot of sense to us. We can't find this other person he claimed to have dropped off. We can't get a name on that individual and of course we don't have any witnesses," Oklahoma City Police Capt. Dexter Nelson said.

Since the victim is not cooperating, police are having a difficult time identifying suspects.

The victim's name and condition have not been released.
