From News9 meteorologist Stephanie Malone...
Today will be cooler than the last couple of days, now that colder air has filtered in behind the cold front that came through yesterday. Highs will get up into the mid 40s under sunny skies today with winds from the northeast at 5 to 15 miles per hour.
Tonight will be very chilly for those headed out to celebrate the New Year. Temperatures will get down to the mid to upper 20s. Tomorrow for the first day of 2009 mostly clear skies with highs in the low 50s.
Friday and Saturday will be nice with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 50s. But stay tuned to News9 in the coming days, because there is a chance for some rain and snow Sunday and Monday.
