From NEWS 9 Meteorologist Stephanie Malone
Southerly winds will bring temperatures up close to 70 degree this afternoon. Winds will also be strong, up to 30 miles per hour. With the warm temperatures, high winds and a low relative humidity, the chance for wildfires will be very high to extreme, especially in southwestern Oklahoma.
But after the warm temperatures today, the state is in store for a cool down this weekend with highs only in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
