DURHAM, Okla. (AP) - A suspected cattle rustler has been arrested in Roger Mills County.
Authorities say 49-year-old Alan Gammon was arrested about 6 p.m. Tuesday at a Durham ranch. Department of Agriculture investigator Col. Mike Grimes says Gammon is wanted for the theft of cattle from a ranch in Murray County where he worked as a ranch hand.
Court records show Gammon was charged in May with one count of embezzlement by an employee.
Grimes says Gammon worked as a ranch hand and sold cattle that belonged to the ranch owner.
Court records do not indicate if Gammon has retained an attorney.
