Storms are already starting to form in northwest Oklahoma. A tornado watch has been issued for northcentral Oklahoma including Enid, Ponca City and Alva until 7 pm.
There is an enchanced risk for severe weather throughout central and northcentral portions of Oklahoma witha risk for severe weather throughout much of the rest of Oklahoma. This includes the chance for hail and wind, and possibly tornadoes.
The metro should be affected by storms after 3:00 pm, but with these strong storms make sure to stayed tuned to New9 and News9.com, we'll keep you advised.
