Flowers may be blooming in Braxton County, West Virginia but that didn't stop of blast of arctic weather from hitting the area Tuesday.
A blanket of white covered the ground in another reminder that winter weather isn't quite over yet.
Residents said they are used to the cold snaps, but are ready for spring and summer to fully arrive.
Things could be worse - one resident said that the area saw 27-inches of snow back in 1987 around this same time of year.
