Man Wanted for Stabbing Captured in Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A man wanted for the March stabbing of a woman near Lake Stanley Draper was captured by the Oklahoma City Sheriff's Office.

Investigators believe Melvin Cizek and Hope Nelson robbed and stabbed the woman several times before leaving her for dead.

The woman was able to survive her assault and was later listed in critical condition.

Nelson was later arrested, but 31-year-old Cizek was able to flee.
