It's a weather phenomenon not common in Utah, but officials at the National
Weather Service say a tornado did hit the small town of Willard, Utah Sunday
evening.
The twister tore trees, signs and light poles out of the ground. There was
some minor damage to several homes in the small town, but overall the
residents of Willard are taking it all in stride.
At one home, the twister tossed a chicken coop onto its side, leaving the
birds to scramble. A couple of small pigs were able to ride out the twister
in their kennel.
People say just about anything sitting on a porch, patio or in the yard was
tossed around by the twister. One homeowner even spent part of his Monday
trying to find the owner of a barbecue grill that landed in his front yard.
Nobody was hurt in the storm.
