From News9 Meteorologist Stephanie Malone...
Today Oklahoma will end the work week on a warm note with highs getting up into the mid 80s with south winds at 10 to 20. The winds will switch around from the north as a cool front makes its way through the state.
Later this afternoon there is a chance for some thunderstorms stretching south of a line from Tulsa to Oklahoma City to Lawton. There is a 40% chance for storms in central Oklahoma with a better chance for storms in eastern Oklahoma. If we do see storms in the state, some of them may become severe.
Saturday and Sunday there will be a continued chance for storms with highs in the mid 60s.
