A very warm and muggy day is in store with highs expected to climb into lower 90s this afternoon with strong southerly winds. A cold front will make its way through the state this evening and into tonight bringing the chance for storms, with an enhanced risk for those storms to become severe. These storms could produce hail, damaging winds and isolated tornoes.
The chance for rain continues into tomorrow, but temperatures will be much cooler with highs only in the lower 70s.
Highs climb into the 80s Friday with a chance for storms Friday night into Saturday.
Sunday through Tuesday things dry out with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
