The weather pattern will be seasonably hot this week. The humidity could send the heat index back up to near 100 degrees during the hottest time of the day.

The air flow aloft may slide a few storms through the state as well, but chances appear to be slight.

The Fourth of July weekend weather looks great for area lakes and pools.
