Fire Destroys Edmond Home

EDMOND, Oklahoma - An Edmond home was destroyed by a fire this afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the house in the 600 block of Countryside Trail around noon.

Propane tanks in the back yard prevented firefighters from entering the home. The fire quickly spread and consumed the home, said Fire Prevention Chief Tim Wheeler.

A neighboring house sustained minor damage, but no injuries were reported.
