1 8oz can garbanzo beans
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons Tahini (a thick paste made of ground sesame seed)
4 tablespoons of virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 bunch of parsley, chopped
2 round pieces of pita bread on a large plate (Sliced 12 pieces each)
1. Combine all ingredients, except paprika, parsley and pita in the blender on medium speed until well blended.
2. Pour the hummus dip in a small bowl and place in the center of the plate.
3. Sprinkle paprika around the edge of the plate and garnish with parsley.
4. Serve with 24 pieces of sliced pita bread for dipping.
