1-year-old Dies in Possible Drowning

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Emergency crews were called to a house after a child was found in a bath tub not breathing.

EMSA crews tried to revive the 1-year-old girl with CPR, but the toddler was unresponsive when they arrived.

The 1-year-old was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Officials are investigating what caused the child's death. They believe it's a possible drowning.

A neighbor told reporters at the scene that the toddler fell into a mop bucket. But police said they can't confirm that's how she drowned.

The incident happened at 3501 N.W. Liberty Street.
