OSU's Joe Mitchell Not Returning

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- NEWS 9 sports has confirmed that OSU freshman Joe Mitchell will not return to the Cowboys this fall.

Mitchell did not make it through the NCAA Clearinghouse because of a high school grade.

The Katy, Texas quarterback-turned-safety was sent home earlier this week, but we've learned he could be back in Stillwater as early as the spring semester if he clears the NCAA.
