OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police arrested a teen father accused of abusing his 2-month-old baby.
Alejandro Diaz, 18, was arrested after the infant was brought into the Southwest Medical Center with a broken leg. Police questioned the baby boy's parents, and according to a police report, the parents told police that a 2-year-old cousin had sat on the baby breaking his leg.
A doctor at the hospital told police, "in my opinion, there was no way."
"When it became very clear to the medical staff that this wasn't what caused the child's injuries and they weren't being told the truth they notified police," said Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Gary Knight.
The parents later changed their story and said that the Diaz had fallen asleep on the baby.
