OKLAHOMA CITY -- A county board has cleared the way for commissioners to eliminate a provision that provides automatic raises for elected officials.
Two weeks ago the county commissioners voted to forego their annual raises for this year.
On Thursday the the county excise board unanimously passed a resolution that would eliminate the raises for the eight elected county officials if the county commissioners approve it at their next meeting.
