The Oklahoma Derby at Remington Park

The Oklahoma Derby, presented by NEWS 9, is the state's top Thoroughbred event, taking place on Sunday, October 11 at Remington Park!

The 21st renewal is the richest Oklahoma Derby ever, boasting a $400,000 purse. Many of the nation's best 3-year-olds are expected to compete. Other major stakes races on the Oklahoma Derby undercard include the $200,000 Remington Park Oaks and the $150,000 Remington Green Stakes.

Oklahoma Derby Week events begin on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. The Derby Day activities at Remington Park feature fun for the kids as well as the parents. The first race on Oklahoma Derby Day, October 11, at Remington Park is 1:30 p.m.
