PERKINS, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad has cleared a threat at a bus lot in the Perkins-Tryon School District.
A school official received a phone call early this morning making a threat to the bus lot, Perkins Emergency Management Director Travis Majors said.
The area was secured by police at 5:50 a.m. by Perkins police who requested the OHP Bomb Squad. The squad arrived at about 8:20 a.m. swept the area. It was cleared at about 9 a.m.
Superintendent James Ramsey said buses did not run this morning, but classes are in session.
