My wife Mary is a terrific cook. She seems to take great pleasure in surprising me with a new, tasty meal or goodie. Recently I awoke early, retrieved the newspaper and headed for the kitchen where the normal low light was on. Half awake, I saw something move off to my right near the stove. I squinted, hoping to get a better view and the darn thing moved again. For an instant I thought there was a weird animal on the counter. On closer examination I discovered growing Monkey Bread, rising upward, outward and downward from its much too small container. I put a photograph of the entity on Facebook and no one could figure out what it was!
