OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma County detention officer was arrested Tuesday by narcotics agents, authorities said.
Jordan Garner was arrested on complaints of conspiracy to traffic a controlled dangerous substance and maintaining a dwelling where unlawful activities are taking place.
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs agents purchased 50 Ecstasy pills and 2 ounces of marijuana from Garner's roommate Jason Ghomrawi in an undercover operation, Bureau Spokesman Mark Woodward said.
Ghomrawi, Garner and a third person, Demarkus Vorise were arrested after agents served a warrant Tuesday at Garner and Ghomrawi's home.
Jordan Garner was arrested after admitting he had knowledge of the drug operation, Woodward said.
Ghomrawi and Vorise were arrested on complaints of trafficking a controlled dangerous substance.
When agents served the warrant yesterday, they found an additional 40 pills of Ecstasy and another 1/4 pound of marijuana.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Garner was an employee and was fired after yesterday's arrest.
