Oklahoma City Police Release Sketch of Attempted Kidnapping Suspect

Oklahoma City Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted kidnapping of a high school student on April 22.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted kidnapping of a high school student on April 22.

According to police the student was walking to school around 8:30 a.m. near N.W. 30th Street and Classen, when he first noticed he was being followed. Around N.W. 30th Street and Western Avenue, the suspect began talking to the victim, then grabbed the student's backpack, attempting to abduct him. 

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's, 5'08", 140 pounds, bald head, chipped front tooth. The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans. He was driving a newer model light gold GMC Denali with factory wheels and tinted windows.

On April 23, the victim again saw this vehicle while he was walking to school, this time in the area of N.W. 30th Street and Virginia Avenue. When the suspect saw the victim making a cell phone call, he quickly sped away.
