Annual Chuck Wagon Gathering Underway

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The 20th Annual Chuck Wagon Gathering and Children's Cowboy Festival is under way at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

The event includes authentic chuck wagon fare, Western stage entertainment and stagecoach and pony rides.

"We are trying to instill the heritage of what the cowboys used to do in the past," Phillip Barnes, chuck wagon cook.

Chuck Wagon activities and museum admission are included in the price of festival admission. The festival continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
