OKLAHOMA CITY -- An effort to set the record for the world's largest swim lesson kicked off Thursday morning at White Water Bay in Oklahoma City.
About 50 children took part in the free lesson that stressed the importance of water safety.
About 100 other facilities around the world took part in the event at the same time.
