JONES, Oklahoma – Three different earthquakes shook the city of Jones early Monday morning.

One earthquake was recorded just after 4 a.m. with a magnitude of 3.4. The second and third earthquakes took place just after 5 a.m. with magnitudes of 2.8 and 2.9.

Researchers said earthquakes of 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude quakes are typically the smallest felt by humans.
