Prague Man Arrested in Wife's Shooting

Pottawatomie County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man for shooting his wife.

PRAGUE, Oklahoma -- Pottawatomie County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man for shooting his wife.

Deputies said Phillip Mlynek shot his wife, Shirley Mlynek, near State Highway 99 and County Line Road after she refused to sign over a deed to their land. Shirley Mlynek had recently filed for divorce, according to Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth.

Booth said Mlynek is being held in the Pottawatomie County jail on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill.
