OKLAHOMA CITY -- Moore police said two women are trying to gain access to homes by posing as DHS workers.

Police are investigating two incidents this week where a pair of mid 30's white females with brown hair knocked on doors saying they were DHS employees. The duo then say they are either there to pick up a child or investigate a case.

No children live at either residence where the incidents took place.

"These people want in the house for some reason. We're not sure what they're wanting to do, but they're definitely wanting to get in the residence," said Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis.

The women have shown some kind of identification. Police said both times the women were seen driving away in a gray SUV.

DHS confirmed no workers were working in that area. Police are now asking all homeowners to take caution.
