OKLAHOMA CITY -- A new law will go into effect Monday to crack down on uninsured drivers.

Beginning November 1, drivers who are caught without insurance could have their cars towed or impounded.

A Broken Arrow representative wrote the legislation, saying there are just too many people driving on the road without insurance.

AAA estimated as many as one in four drivers in Oklahoma don't have insurance.
