OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is searching for new clues in the disappearance of a truck driver, one year after he went missing.

Tony Day disappeared on Dec. 3, 2009, right before an important child custody hearing with his ex-girlfriend. The truck the 47-year-old drove for Oklahoma City-based Kimray, Inc. was found abandoned near N.E. 63rd Street and Henney Road in Jones.

"Tony was a great worker," said Kimray employee Kelly Massie.  "Showed up every day on time, very diligent and consistent.  And he loved his family a lot."

OSBI agents said they've spent the past year following dozens of leads. They continue to treat Day's disappearance as a missing person case because they have no evidence he's a homicide victim.

"We can't substantiate any of those so we don't know if he's missing on his own volition or if something happened to him," OSBI spokesperson Jessica Brown said.

Day was last seen wearing Wrangler blue jeans, a denim short-sleeve shirt, a black jacket lined in gray with the Kimray logo, and tan work boots. He has a Harley Davidson symbol tattoo on his left arm with the name "Lori" on it. He has another tattoo of Woody Woodpecker's head on his right shoulder.

Anyone with information about Day's whereabouts is asked to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
