OKLAHOMA CITY -- A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Pottawatomie County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 50-year-old Perry Alexander was driving westbound on Lake Road near Gaddy Road when he left the roadway for an unknown reason, causing his vehicle to go airborne and cross a small creek. The vehicle then rolled one and a half times before coming to a rest.
Alexander was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
An OHP report stated Alexander was not wearing a seatbelt. The cause of the collision and the condition of Alexander at the time of the crash are still under investigation.
