LAS VEGAS-- Miss Oklahoma Emoly West was named fourth runner up and won the Lifestyle and Fitness award in Miss America 2010.
She received a $1,000 scholarship for the Lifestyle and Fitness award.
West performed ballet en pointe to the song "Time" as her talent during the competition. She also had to answer a question about using discretion online and her advice to young girls in that regard. She said everyone should think before they act and speak and people need to use discretion when posting anything online.
The 24-year-old was crowned Miss Oklahoma over the summer. West is a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with a minor in Broadcast Journalism.
West said she wants to be a sports correspondent during the Olympics.
Miss Nebraska, Teresa Scanlan, was crowned Miss America 2011.
