OKLAHOMA CITY -- A law enforcement officer pulled his gun on a man he said broke into his northwest Oklahoma City apartment early Saturday morning.

The victim said he heard someone knocking on his door around 12:35 a.m. January 15. He said when he opened the door, 29-year-old Jesse Glasgow pushed his way into the apartment and began to hit him.

The victim grabbed his service pistol, pointed it at Glasgow, and told him to get out of his apartment or he would shoot him. The victim said as he was trying to close the door, Glasgow kicked it open and attacked him again. After a brief struggle, the victim said he finally managed to shove Glasgow outside, lock the door and call police.

When police arrived, they arrested Glasgow. One officer noted he appeared to be extremely intoxicated. Once he was at the jail, Glasgow said he had passed out, so officers took him to the hospital to be medically cleared.

While at the hospital, Glasgow told officers he'd done nothing wrong and was just visiting his girlfriend, who lives on the second floor. When officers pointed out Glasgow was at an apartment on the third floor, they said he appeared confused. When they informed Glasgow that he had attacked a law enforcement officer who pulled a gun on him, Glasgow told police he did not remember anything that happened before he was handcuffed and put in a patrol car.

After Glasgow was medically cleared, he was transported back to the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of first-degree burglary and assault and battery.
