OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are searching for a suspect who kicked in a glass window to burglarize a cell phone business.
On January 24, police were called to the Cricket Wireless at 4501 S. May. When an officer arrived, he found a broken window but it didn't appear anything had been stolen from the store.
When police later checked surveillance video from the store, they saw someone use a bat to crack the window. The suspect then kicked in the window and entered the store.
The suspect tried to steal several cell phones, but they were attached by cords to the wall and the suspect could not remove them. He tried to pull them out, and even tried to sever the cord with his teeth but it didn't work. He appeared to leave the store empty-handed.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235.7300.
