OKLAHOMA CITY -- Students at Northeast Academy of Health Science and Engineering were bused to a different school Tuesday because of a water main break in northeast Oklahoma City.
Crews were called in just after midnight to fix the break near E. Madison Ave. and N. Oklahoma Ave. The break affected water services at the school, so administrators decided to transport students to Douglass Mid-High School for the day. Classes are taking place inside the auditorium. Sack lunches are also being provided for all students.
An Oklahoma City Public School official said the water line was repaired Tuesday afternoon. Northeast Academy students will be back in their building Wednesday.
