OKLAHOMA CITY -- A driver led police on a high-speed pursuit through part of southeast Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a pursuit began when an officer attempted to pull over a white Mercury Marauder. The driver took off, driving at a very high rate of speed.
Police called off the pursuit at one point, but the suspect was spotted by a police helicopter after he bailed out of the car near S.E. 33rd and Oklahoma Avenue. The suspect then ran into a home where police took the suspect into custody without incident.
The suspect's identity has not been released.
No injuries were reported.
