OKLAHOMA CITY -- More than 30,000 OG&E customers were without power after crews cut a power line Sunday afternoon.

OG&E said a backhoe severed the powerline in Shawnee around noon Sunday knocking out power to residents from Oklahoma City to Shawnee.

Crews said they were able to restore power to all customers by about 3 p.m. Sunday.

A downed powerline in the area also started a grassfire near I-40 and Highway 102. Firefighters were able to quickly put it out.
