Congratulations to Urban Meyer and the Gators for finding a way to steal the headlines and spotlight even when they're not in the big game. I'm not making light of Meyer's medical situation. I hope he's ok and takes care of what he needs to take care of. A head football coach at a major program is a very stressful gig. Constant demands on your time. Constant criticism. Constant recruiting. But the guy who is making 22-grand a year trying to feed a family of five is the one who's stressed out. And he can't take a leave of absence.

And now we know that Urban has changed his mind and may be back next year after from R&R. But the 24 hours of Bob Stoops to Florida panic was unnecessary. There's no way Bob was going to Gator-Nation on the heels of their most successful run in school history to coach with Urban Meyer looking over his shoulder. But now we don't have to worry about that...unless Urban calls another press conference today.
