Cheers for Tears

I saw tears inside the Lloyd Noble Center Sunday night. That's a beautiful thing.

Not that I enjoy seeing kids cry. But it's the raw emotion of March Madness that is so appealing. It's what makes One Shining Moment shine.

College football is great. But you can rarely see emotion with helmets and mouthpieces in the way. It's the tight shot that makes the NCAA Tournament captivating. The sheer exuberence of a game-winning shot. Capturing that moment when a player realizes "it's over."

And it's not just the girls who cry. It's anybody who cares. Any player who has poured their heart and soul into a team effort. They never consider the end...until the end. And then it's more than the eyes can hold.

March makes our hearts break for complete strangers...and smile for kids we've never met.

It's Madness....and it's awesome!
