Road Warriors...A Good Sign

I'll be honest, I have no idea what to expect from this Thunder team in the playoffs. None. I dare not even venture a guess because they have far exceeded any of my previous prognostications.

I could see them falling in the 1st Round...they'll likely be the underdog. And I don't think it's crazy to say this team could make it to the Western Conference Finals.

But I do think it is a very good sign that they are not only handling, but excelling in tough road environments here down the stretch. Road wins at Boston and at Dallas, and Tuesday's resilient overtime thriller at Utah are the latest examples...all in playoff-type atmospheres.

I wondered whether they would be able to continue to play well on the road when the intensity got ratcheted up. So far they have more than answered the bell.

In fact, I'm not so sure they don't prefer to play on the road. That's a good sign, because it's going to take a few gutsy performances away from OKC when the post-season arrives.
