Steve Nash says he tries to get 12 hours of sleep a night ans squeeze in as many naps as possible because sleep is vital to an athlete performing at his/her peak. Im sure thats all Junior was trying to do. Its no different than eating a banana or pounding an energy drink during a game.
Maybe Griffey was employing some sort of revolutionary new pre-pinch-hitting training experiment? The fault here is not on Ken...its on his manager for not waking him up.
