Each morning on my radio show for the next five weeks Ill be counting down my preseason college football Top 25 with some pertinent info about each team. It is without a doubt the most insignificant and unreliable preseason Top 25 youll find anywhere.

#24 Arizona

The positive momentum Mike Stoops team built by winning at USC and posting back-to-back winning seasons was slowed considerably by their performance in the Holiday Bowl. A 33-0 shutout at the hands of Nebraska showed that the Wildcats have not yet arrived. But they do return an impressive amount of offensive talent in 2010 and should be a team to be reckoned with in the Pac-10.

Quarterback Nick Foles is really good. The Michigan State transfer was very impressive in 2009 as the leader of a wide-open Cats offense. And his main weapons are all back. Running backs Nic Grigsby and Keola Antolin are a scary one-two punch. And receiver Juron Criner is a playmaker.

Surprisingly for a Mike Stoops team, it is the defense that could struggle this year. Only four starters return. Arizona must replace the entire linebacking corps and could struggle to slow down pass-happy teams.

The Wilcats do, however, have one trick up their sleeve. Punt returner Bug Wright has one of the best names and is one of the best returners in college football. He can be a game-changer.

Circle Week Three on the schedule. If Arizona can get past a solid Iowa team in Tucson they could be in for a special season. I dont think they will. I predict the Wildcats beat USC again but lose to Iowa, Oregon State, at Stanford and at Oregon.

Prediction: 8-4
