Its early in the week, but as you go about your angst over OU-Texas and try to decipher the key matchups and players, dont forget the obvious one...especially this year. Turnovers!

The Sooners have some significant concerns, but they have done a good job of taking care of the football. Four turnovers in four games. Combine that with their 12 takeaways and the Sooners have the 4th best turnover margin in the nation. And with points expected to be at a premium in the Cotton Bowl, one fumble or one ill-timed pick could be the difference.

Last year, the Sooners seemingly put the ball on the turf every other play...and still only lost by three to the team that went on to play in the BCS Championship Game. The OU defense has struggled, but they have made big plays. Theyve forced fumbles and come up with interceptions in key situations. If they can force Garrett Gilbert into mistakes Saturday...OU wins.
