NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Former Oklahoma Sooner star DeMarco Murray was on hand in Norman, Okla. Friday to help coach at Adrian Peterson's football camp. Peterson released an apology Thursday, citing a scheduling conflict that would keep him from attending the camp.
Murray, who holds four all-time records for the Sooners, was drafted in the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the NFL Draft, but due to the labor issues has yet to begin any contract negotiations with the team.
In addition to Murray's presence at the camp, former Oklahoma stars Jason White and Mark Clayton also served as coaches for the camp held at the OU Practice Field.
