Couple Jailed On Child Neglect Complaint In Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police arrested the parents of a baby Wednesday after blisters were found all over the child's body.

23-year-old Jeremy Hood and 19-year-old Nanci Crittenden were jailed on a child neglect complaint after police found their five-month-old boy covered with severe burns and blisters.

The parents told investigators the marks were caused from a sunburn but police believe the blisters may have been caused by hot water.

They're now investigating if marks were intentional.

The baby was taken to a hospital and is now in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

The parents have not been formally charged. Their bond is set at $10,000.
