Fort Sill Soldiers Return Home From Afghanistan

FORT SILL, Oklahoma -- Some of Oklahoma's finest are back on Sooner Soil.

Fifty members of the First Battalion 17th Field Artillery Unit are busy now visiting with their families.

They arrived early Thursday morning at Fort Sill.

The soldiers have spent close to a year in Afghanistan helping hand over leadership there ahead of the troop drawdown.
