Salvation Army Offers Cooling Centers Across Metro

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Due to excessive heat, the Salvation Army is offering the public three cooling center services across the metro.

Cooling centers that offer water and air-conditioned rooms are open at the following Salvation Army offices:

- Southwest 4th and Hudson in Oklahoma City

- 201 S. Bickford in El Reno

- 318 E. Hayes in Norman

The Salvation Army is also accepting applications for its Fan Distribution Program. If you need a fan to stay cool, you can apply with the Salvation Army Social Services Office by calling (405)-246-1061.
