Oklahoma City, OK – Mark Brucher is looking after his health. When he saw a new Gold's Gym under construction near his home, he decided to sign up.

In April 2011, Mark paid $200 for the first month and three sessions with a trainer. First he was told the Northwest Expressway location would open June 1st. It was later pushed back to June 27th.

"After that time, I had no communication," Brucher said. "Nothing was going on with the facility and I just really got concerned. I was just getting worried they were going to pull out and just leave me hanging."

Four months later, the only thing Mark has to show for the $200 is a t-shirt.

"Just explain what's been going on," Brucher said. "Give us some answers."

I made a call to Gold's Gym corporate offices. They told me they hit a few snags with permits and construction at the Northwest Expressway and Quail Springs locations. I found work going once again along Northwest Expressway. But things were pretty quiet at Quail Springs.

Gold's Gym hopes to open the Northwest Expressway location by early fall. Quail Springs is expected to open before the end of the year.

We're told members can use the Edmond location that is already open or they can cancel for a full refund.
