OKLAHOMA CITY -- Monday night's storm has knocked down several power poles across the metro, causing problems for some Oklahoma City residents.
The storm left several power poles in the middle of the road near the 122nd St. and Rockwell Ave. area. People living in the Preston Hills Addition, located in this area, say there is only one way in and out for them, and it is now blocked from both directions.
However, this has left the residents with more to worry about than just losing electric service.
"You just cannot get in or out," says Tom Barnett, a resident at Preston Hills. "There is a concern about medical emergency."
Barnett says this highlights the need for some big design changes in his neighborhood.
