OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City man with alleged ties to a Mexican cartel is wanted for kidnapping his estranged wife.
According to an Oklahoma City police report, Jaime Martinez, 36, kidnapped his wife as she returned home from work. Martinez allegedly forced his wife back into the car at knife point. At one point, the victim was put into the trunk of the car.
The victim managed to find the trunk release and escaped at a gas station in Texas. Martinez allegedly chased the victim, but then fled after a gas station employee called police.
