OKLAHOMA CITY -- Hank Williams Jr.'s comparison of President Obama and the House Speaker playing golf, to Hitler and the Prime Minister of Israel playing was absurd.
But it seemed an overreaction to me for ESPN to drop his musical opening to Monday Night football because of it.
Here's what you had to say:
Virginia writes: "I think Hank William's Jr. got some of what he deserved. Please stop apologizing for him."
But Jerry in Midwest City writes: "Asking Hank Jr. his opinion is like inviting a bull into your china shop.
Don't ask for his opinion if you're not prepared for his response."
David in Wetumka: "Espn is blocked on all my tv s until Hank is back."
Jason in Carnegie: "I agree that Mr. Williams was wrong comparing Mr. Obama to Hitler but he did apologize and that should really be the end of it."
Coty in Prague: "It doesn't matter if it is Hank William's Jr. or Andy William's it is still not ok to say."
Ken in Norman: "..you guys are much better than to cover for such an ignorant statement..."
Finally Dave in Del City: "If not for coat tails (Hank Sr.) he would be just another fool in an old Ford truck with a rebel flag in the back glass !!!
